| This isn't really movement, but it also doesn't need its own thread. KBA got a contract extension to 2023. It's her second at Michigan. The first one, in 2015, went to 2021.

Nikki Fargas hires Michaela Mabrey as Director of Recruiting. I mean, huh? If you're going to get a DOR, don't you get someone like Tia Jackson? Even her former assistant Coach Stacie Terry got the very well known recruiting ace Kevin Morrison to San Diego State.
Fargas is likely coaching for her contract. Still no word on the extension but when the AD announced it, there were howls from LSU faithful. Recruiting has always been Caldwell-Fargas' weak spot and it sounds more like a set-up than anything else. After all this time, if top players still aren't coming to LSU, it's not them, it's her. But if LSU strikes out in the 2019 class, she can say it was Mabrey's fault.

Interesting that Arizona State just picked up a commitment from Sydnei Caldwell, daughter of NFL Assistant Coach Mike Caldwell. Mike Caldwell's niece is Nikki (Caldwell) Fargas.

Actually, you're getting titles mixed up. Maybry is the Director of Recruiting, NOT the Recruiting Coordinator. Huge difference. You're thinking of the Recruiting Coordinator position, something held by an assistant in conjunction with their coach duties, where they lead the recruiting efforts of the program.
A Director of Recruiting is a non-coaching position, meaning their job is just on the organizational side. So, things like setting up the details of official visits (making sure flights are booked, hotels, itinerary, etc...) Maybry will have zero to do with the actual recruitment of players; she is literally not allowed to by NCAA rules since she isn't a coach.

Looking at the LSU coaching staff, Fargas added Aaron Kallhoff to fill the loss of Mickie DeMoss.

Thompson will join La'Keshia Frett Meredith and Katherine Graham on the coaching staff. Frett Meredith is in her sixth season with the Cavaliers while Graham is beginning her third.
