Always a high scoring game when these 2 teams play each other

I really like how the Storm are sharing the ball and the pace they play at.
Also happy to see Loyd knock them down some shots. Lets hope that she doesnt throw up too many 3's

DD with 1 fga in the first half.....Stocks has done a poor job of integrating Diamond into the offense...DD just stands behind the three-point line as if she's a three-point specialist.

Free throw percentage:
Parker-47%
Deshields-43%
Vandersloot-21%
Quigley-16%
Dolson-13%

Why is Stocks running so much of the offense through players who can't get to the FT line?

Stocks started Gabby at the 4 Rolling Eyes

Seeing too many Chicago passes go to Seattle players.

They are making passes that aren't there or would have to be rifled.

DD is being guarded by Loyd. So she cant use her speed against her because Loyd is faster. But she needs to realise that she has an advantage in strength and length.

What type of nonsense is this?......Diamond has 3-4 inches on Loyd....JL can't guard DD.....How do you expect DD to use her strength and length if she's standing behind the three-point line on every possession?

Diamond in 2 games vs Seattle this season is averaging 20.5 pts on 48% fg shooting

Stop making excuses for Stocks.

Lol i only said that DD needs to be agressive and realise that she needs to take it to Loyd because she is stronger and taller then her. Yes part of it is on Stocks for not going to that mismatch but DD needs to be assertive aswell

The return of the gold mamba with 20 pts, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and Stewie with a nice 30 pt game. On to the next one

So Chicago waited until the 4th quarter before they start getting DD the ball?.

1st 3 qt:1-2 fg...3 pts

4th:4-9 fg...11 pts

An absolutely meaningless 14 pts.

Gabby starts and only plays 16 minutes

Predictable outcome. One of the league's worst defenses vs transition and spot-up opportunities vs the best transition offense in the league and a team that gameplans for the corner 3. Another 100 piece given up is unacceptable, pace be damned.

I know I mess around a lot on here about tanking, etc. but this is really getting old. Not sure if y'all have caught wind of this but respect for Stocks both on her own team and around the league is pretty low. Fingers crossed that Alter has grown a spine since the EDD mess and makes a good decision this offseason.

Yea stocks is not a good coach . She's still coaching as though she's trying to figure out what rotations work and which dont. Were in the last 3rd of the season and you still have not figured this out ? She needs to be replaced in my opinion.

For a minute this season it felt like the Sky were potentially building something, but that has evaporated just as quickly.
Near triple-double by Loyd was very timely. Seattle's 4 stars were starting to look like just 3 stars.

So what credible candidate out there in the world would make a great head coach for the Sky? When I say credible I mean some one with success at being a head coach. Some one on the level of Dan Hughes that can step in and turn things around immediately.

Quigley,Sloot,Dolson, and Gabby are averaging a combines 6.7 FTA per game......I'm sorry, but that's not gonna get it done...Next season, two,or maybe even three of those players need to come off the bench...Sloot is the only guaranteed starter of the four

For the rest of this season I would start:

G-Sloot
G-Quigley
C-Dolson
F-Ndour
F-DeShields

Dan Hughes has had success at being a head coach and non-success at being a head coach. In 16 previous years coaching his teams were below .500 8 times. Natasha Howard, new to the team, has played like an all-star this year, even though she wasn't selected. The bench is also a little different.

I think the Sky need an upgrade in personnel. They only have one all-star, who is felt here to be a poor defender. This year they added 3 lottery picks, but none were of the "all-star in rookie year" quality, and Coates and Williams may never be all-stars.

Dan Hughes has had success at being a head coach and non-success at being a head coach. 8 of his 16 previous years in the league have been below .500 (Agler was below .500 in all 4 of his years with Minnesota). Natasha Howard has come in and played at an all-star level and should get a lot of the credit for Seattle improving. The bench has changed as well, including Langhorne now available from it.

Even if Stocks is not a good coach, I think Chicago needs to upgrade their personnel more than the coach. Quigley is their only all-star, and yet she is felt to be sub-par defensively.

I believe Diamond would've been an All-star under the old selection format.
