Especially considering conferences don't really exist anymore...

It should be the Top 2 players regardless of imaginary conferences.
Get with the program, WNBA janitor.

It has long been ridiculous to name two a week given the size of the league. They should go back to naming one POW, regardless of conference.

Even if the league reaches 16 teams, conferences wouldn't matter. Maybe at 20 teams they could split into 4 divisions.

After posting 53? Yes. She is the player of the week.
So how about MVP? I am for it.

It's definitely going to be an uphill battle for someone else to be POW from the west this week

As the release says...

Other candidates for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Atlanta’s Elizabeth Williams, Chicago’s Courtney Vandersloot, the Las Vegas Aces’ Kayla McBride and A’ja Wilson, the Los Angeles Sparks’ Candace Parker, the Minnesota Lynx’s Maya Moore, Seattle’s Breanna Stewart and Washington’s Elena Delle Donne.

Should be just a matter of time before Collen is announced as Coach of the Month, if they still do that award.

Question, has a player ever won POM and not been an All Star in the same season?

Yes. Epiphanny Prince was POM for August 2015 but was not an All Star that season.

Also, there was no ASG in 2010, 2012, or 2016. The league began awarding Player of the Month in 2010.
