Taurasi is playing but so far she is 0-3 (all 3s) and Connecticut is up 10.

It seemed like just a matter of time because they're too talented ... looks like tonight the Sun decided to be good again.

I think having J Jones come off the bench will be better for the Sun. Let's see if they can win this one.

Game of runs. Phoenix have caught up again, and this could be a good finish.

Courtney Williams been killing us all game.

A. Thomas might need OT to get her triple double.

Laughing ..@ Brondello trading C.Williams for basically nothing...Trading Harrison for a 12th overall pick(Robinson to Minnesota)...and not giving the pick any PT....At waiving A.Prince without giving her any playing time......Brondello doesn't give young players an opportunity because she's scared that they will outplay the mediocre veterans that she's brought in from overseas.

And again....The Mercury are going to really miss Sancho.

Really disappointed Gulich isn't getting any playing time with Lyttle out & Little looking like crap.

Gulich has looked like even worse crap though.
I hope she gets more minutes too, but I also hope they're mostly garbage minutes until she stops getting dominated.

Got to go to this game. DT was hysterical. She was arguing with fans at one point.

I kind of saw this loss coming, given CT is a good team, and we’ve beaten them a few times. But still, DT got several open looks that could have changed the game. Apparently she used up her bullshit on the banked threes. (Really great game by her, rare to have her play that way and have the Merc lose).

Really hoping Robinson earned a starting spot. She could gel really well with the starters. And it would’ve better to give Little as little minutes as possible. Personally I’d go Robinson/Bonner/little for PF minutes. (Would really like to give Turner and Mitchell her minutes) but I think a five of January/Taurasi/Bonner/Robinson/Griner can get back to June Merc form, given the opportunity to gell.

Really really good game. Sun had an incredible offensive play (Uconn like) that I even clapped for.

The Liberty should make Phoenix an offer:

Vaughn/Rodgers or Vaughn/Prince for Gulich

Brondello has a history of trading away young players.

When did Brondello become the GM? Phoenix has always been in favor of veterans over youth. But most teams are. Look at the complaints on this board with the teams at the top (Phoenix, Minnesota, LA) and you will see that a majority of the complaints are that they do not play the young players.

Your comment about Sancho, while true, contradicts your complaint about Brondello above.
