Uncanny how many times when we yield an offensive rebound and it gets kicked out it results in a made 3.

Boyd playing well 2 points, 4 assists. Zahui playing well on offense but D and rebounding leaving something to be desired.

Excellent first quarter for Zahui B. Lots of offense, and more great post D. She's surprising me with her post defense; one poster here said I was underestimating it, and I'm beginning to hope that I was wrong.

Very few minutes for Kia Nurse, and none for Kiah Stokes. You're playing the wrong Kia(h), Katie!

So Sugar Rodgers made a long 2 pointer in the first quarter. After last game where they missed open three after open three, I began to wonder if taking a few more long 2s instead of 3s might get everyone's outside shooting back on track. Isn't the college 3 pointer a little bit shorter? Maybe what I'm suggesting would help Kia Nurse. She came in with the reputation of being the best 3 point shooter in the draft. Maybe she should get comfortable with a slightly shorter shot, and then maybe try to extend it back.

I know that extra point is valuable when you make the three, but the way things are going now, 2 points are better than no points. And made long 2s would stop defenses from collapsing on Tina and the lane almost as well as made 3s.

Crazy, or a worth a try? I'd like to see the Liberty try something; our perimeter shooting is staggeringly bad.

This is the best game defensively the Libs have played in a long time. Probably all season. I’m pleased they are playing with pride. I’ll watch hard work, effort and intensity all day, 5-14 or not.
