He should have put Sami in for Loyd. At least she can score. Loyd is just sucking bigtime here. |
Except she can't, really.

Stewie missing that game tying shot was just typical for the whole game.
Storm lost this game instead of the Sparks winning this game |
One reason Seattle had trouble scoring was the 36 hours between games. People need to consider the schedule as well. The Sparks had a two day buffer for the first time in quite a while. They have come off a brutal schedule that included a back to back last weekend. That was one reason their defense was really lacks recently. Even Beard and Gray who usually have played good defense most of this season sucked at the end of that schedule. Seattle was fortunate to catch the Mystics at the end of a back to back on Sunday.

Clark's at her best when she's defending big guards(Gray,Diggins,McBride,etc)....But against the bigger wings(McCougtry,DeShields,Bonner,etc)...she's no match.....However,Clark has improved her game.
Seattle has a dilemma on their hands...If Clarks guarding the big guards, who guards the SF's?

You make a very interesting point. It usually worked pretty well Against LA because their forwards are not that much of a problem. Beard usually is not used as a scorer, except for this game. Carson generally just shoots from the outside and doesn't drive. Except they did try to isolate her on the block in this last game which resulted in a few O boards and scores close to the basket. I think the Sparks may have finally figured out how to counter Seattle in that respect.

Sparks seem to be slumping. Parker doesn't seem to have that fire in her we saw back in 2016. |
Lazy Ace is back! |
Ace is really lazy as she finishes with a almost triple double

No replay on last sequence? Really?
I'm sure Twitter would do the same for an NFL game ... |
Amen. What a fucking joke.

Lynx fans should be concerned with them being able to get W's down the home stretch. 8 losses and not even halfway is kind of alarming for a 4 out of 8 time Champion... |
Don't worry, I am back from my month-long suspension. I apologize for cussing out and being mean, but I was wondering why all the other Lynx fans here were happy with the Lynx being 3-6, except for me. But I was able to come to the conclusion that all the Lynx fans, except me, must know that maybe the Lynx are blatantly tanking because they want a Top-10 pick (which Reeve was naive enough to think she was going to get from Seattle, but probably isn't), but in order to not give confidence to the playoff teams, they are intentionally losing to the bottom teams instead (because it sure seems fishy that the Lynx can win at Phoenix, beat Seattle, and beat the Sparks, but they can't compete with Indiana or Chicago, and all of their players just happen to all suck at the same time). I'd rather the Lynx just be happy enough with having the #11 pick, and get a bye into the semifinals, if that's how it goes, instead of losing though.

I really hope she is even lazier against the Twitter Queen, Hollywood Liz, and their jolly band of Wings. I would love to see another triple double by Ace. She must have the all-time record for most near triple doubles.

Parker actually hustled and hit the boards in this last game. She gave her best effort of the year. Now if they can just get her to play within her skill set. Most of her turnovers do not come from good defensive plays but from poor decisions. She often makes passes she should not make and some and sometimes hangs on to the ball when she should pass it off earlier. She did both of those things in this game as well. One really dumb play was towards the end of the fourth Quarter when she chose to pass the ball in to a double teamed Nika while a wide open Carson was jumping up and down waving her arms for the ball in the corner. Nika was swarmed and threw up a prayer. Carson was the one that was hot and a three would have made a real difference.
From what I have seen Parker makes a lot of bad decisions but gets away with it due to her overall talent. She just needs to be realistic about what she is good at and what she is not. For a vet with her experience she sure makes a lot of bad decisions.

Why won't you spell Nneka correctly?
