100% truth Laughing Laughing

Stewie is rushing her shots when she finally has a lil bit of space. Clark is shutting down Gray again. She deserves to be on the 1st all defensive team!
Taking it to another level this season

League Pass being buggy and can't get the game on that app. Bummer. Happening for others?

To make things worse NBATV has Summer League on right now. Just want to be able to watch two of the top WNBA teams on a major channel. UGH.

Has she regressed? Thought she'd be All-Star/Olympic caliber by now - it's her fourth year.

She put up allstar numbers last season and she started on fire this season but she is in a shooting slump right now. Doesnt work that she keeps on shooting outside jumpers instead of attacking the basket..

Loyd went from being possible MVP in the beginning of the season to just shooting bricks lately. What's going on?

Well, she attacked, but Essence Carson squashed that idea away...eeck.

Also, on their Instagram handle Seattle called this a "Sellout" crowd with an image from All Star 2017. Um, no.

He should have put Sami in for Loyd. At least she can score. Loyd is just sucking bigtime here.

Just forcing too many outside shots. Settling for lower % shots.
Time for Die Bitches, Clark and Howard to take over with Stewie and Loyd struggling this game

Just turned this on ... cannot stand this guy.

Hope it ends in one OT -- got to go coach two summer league games soon.

Yeah but Dan doesnt trust her enough down the stretch Confused Stewie and Loyd with a horrible shooting night and also those turnovers are just too much to overcome

No replay on last sequence? Really?

I'm sure Twitter would do the same for an NFL game ...

Whoever got the rebound for the Storm on the previous possession was dumb and passed it to Loyd who then dribbled up the court. Call the timeout and advance it and save some time.

That Stewie miss layup sums up the game for her and Loyd today. Couldn’t get anything.

Stewie missing that game tying shot was just typical for the whole game.
Storm lost this game instead of the Sparks winning this game

Keep going to Clark and her mismatch on Gray. 10 pts already for her in this Q It will create space for Stewie eventually

You need to watch the game and not listen to the announcers. Gray usually locks her down. Clark usually plays good defense against Gray as well. That guy didn't know his rear from a garbage can. She wasn't much better either. When the announcer made the statement about the mismatch was the only time that Clark scored while Gray was actually on her. And she wasn't on her the entire time during that play either. Clark got most of her points when they switched players early in the second half. Gray did have about 3 subpar defensive showings a few games back, but generally she is a really good defender.

Most announcers on League pass are idiots. They spend more time taking and less actually watching the game. The womans rationalization as to why Howard shouldn't have been called for an offensive foul on that last minute play was absurd. "She was trying to avoid contact" She still initiated contact with a fully set player who had position. What a moron. At best it is a no call. Not an and one.

People need to notice defensive switches because it isn't always obvious who's assignment got open. The Sparks have really been poor in that aspect of the game during their losing streak. Some of it might have been due to accumulative fatigue from the horrendous schedule they have just come off of.

The players that were the defensive liabilities for the Sparks in this game were first an foremost Williams who was constantly getting beat along with losing her man on switches. Sims who generally plays good on the ball defense also has a real problem losing her defensive assignment on screens and switches. That is why when they were both off the court at the end of the game the Sparks defense was really good.

Bird's been on fire....Last 8 gms...50%/47%/89%.......I believe Bird's preparation(diet) for "ESPN The Body Issue" contributed to her slow start.Bird seems to have more energy and isn't as sluggish she was at the beginning of the season.....J.Loyd on the other hand Rolling Eyes
