Chelsea Gray, the 198th player in WNBA history to score 1000 points! NHL is 25 years, 231 days old. She is the 75th youngest to score 1000. She took 105 games to score 1000, tied with Katie Douglas for 92nd fastest ever. She is the 5th player from the class of 2014 to score 1000.

Chelsea Gray recorded her 100th career steal (July 1) and 400th career assist (June 29).

By my count, her 400th career assist came in her 117th game, while her 100th steal came in her 118th game.

Pilight, do you have stats/data regarding players after recording assist #400 and steal #100 and where Chelsea ranks as compared to those players?

I don't track them at that granular of a level.

I'd guess the 100 steals in 118 games doesn't rank that highly, considering we've had players get 100 steals in a season.

And they could have been on the same team, but for some reason the Fever preferred Ebony Freaking Hoffman.

Chelsea's nickname in college was "The Closer." She has now earned the right to carry that name into the WNBA.

Yeah...and NHL is Chelsea’s nickname? Is she a fan of ice hockey?

At the time, the 2002 draft was considered quite deep.

But the only other player with more than 4242 point for her W career from that class (besides Bird) is Cash.

Kristi Toliver, the 24th player in WNBA history to reach 1000 assists! Lil Mopey is 31 years, 165 days old. She is the 13th youngest to reach 1000. She took 303 games to reach 1000, the 14th fastest ever. She is the 1st player from the class of 2009 to reach 1000 assists!

She would be the youngest to 2000 assists if she got there by 30 April 2020. Should would be the fastest to 2000 if she got there in her next 32 games.

With today's blocked shot against Indiana, Sylvia Fowles now has 555 blocked shots for her career, tied for 5th place on the all-time list with Tammy Sutton-Brown. Tangela Smith is in 4th place with 557 blocked shots, while Lauren Jackson is in 3rd with 586.

Fowles will pass Jackson this year and move into third if she has 32 blocked shots in her final 14 games of the 2018 season.

Interesting to note that Brittney Griner is in 7th place, with 551 blocked shots. While Fowles has blocked her 555 shots in 292 games, Griner has blocked her 551 shots in 168 games.
