In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of one's choice. Some of Donovan's favorites included the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, Meals on Wheels (Wilmington, NC), Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW), Pender County Humane Society (NC) and Operation Top Cat in Sneads Ferry, NC.
A second memorial honoring Anne will be hosted by her family for her area neighbors and friends in early August in Wilmington North Carolina. |

It would be disingenuous of her to say anything. It's more respectful to remain silent. Just because someone dies, doesn't mean you have to suddenly love them when they have said nasty things about you.

remember the saying, if you can't say something good about the dead then don't say anything. That is what Becky is saying. No disrespect for Ann but she did say terrible things about Becky, even to the point of calling her a traitor.

That is just stating a pretty logical opinion, and is far from a terrible thing to say about someone IMO.
I know many Americans take it super-seriously, but personally I think patriotism is a highly overrated quality. It's one thing to love your country, but it's another to let it hold you back in life unnecessarily.
