It’s been a long, drawn-out process for Westbrook, who hasn’t played since 2016 after tearing a knee ligament in August that year. She was finally healthy enough to play this past season, but the NCAA originally didn’t grant her a sixth year of eligibility. Florida appealed in January, and the NCAA reconsidered its decision and allowed her to play.

Wonder what she's done with the extra 3 years of scholarship?

How many people get a scholarship covering 4 years of college and 3 years of law school, for example? If she used summer school wisely, she could be close to completing a Ph.D. before her playing days end.

This is quite a resume...

Verballed to Arizona State (de-committed)
Enrolled at Arizona (never played)
Transferred to Trinity Valley Community College (never played)
Transferred to Northwest Florida State College (played 2 seasons)
Transferred to Florida (played 1 season, missed 1 season due to injury, dismissed by new staff)
Transferred to TBD

But she's a talented player, she could definitely some top 25 team.

And I'm pleased to see the Florida administration support her appeal even as she was on the outs with the team.

Did she have a series of injuries, or one injury following academic problems, coaching changes, and/or bad enrollment decisions?
