The officiating has been horrific in this game but that’s not why we’re shooting 14% from 3.

Someone needs to tell Zealous that leaving the court is not optional....

This is worse than that game we lost to Chicago 66-44 or something like that in 2015. I don’t usually get too down over one game but there’s literally no positives in this game at all. Subs coming in and out every two minutes. I get you’re trying to find what works but having so many players makes role definition difficult.

well like i said before, Charles can't do it all on her own, especially when you have washed-up players like Vaughn/Coleman around you. you gonna have games like this. and to be honest i'm not even mad anymore. it is what it is.

Kia Nurse has officially hit that Rookie Wall, which is gonna happen for rookies when they get into this league. not worried about her she will be fine and solid for us

Considering I’ve known two people who died unexpectedly less than a week after I last saw them, no.

Despite being at full strength, this was our worst game of the season. Our D was a non-factor. We somehow shot 43% and the refs weren't on our side, but our intierer D needs to be better. Rebounding wise we were equal, but we're not going to win many games with Stokes & Vaughn as our centers.

Oh, and the Liberty did break a league record tonight. Lowest announced attendance, 1,419.

What would life be without those people who get such joy out of sticking it to other people? Especially when it's anonymous so there's absolutely no social cost to being that way.

Sadly, I'm not shocked by what happened tonight. I haven't been as optimistic as some other Liberty fans. The team will be better once Prince and Stokes have had some games to readjust. The team will be better once Katie Smith has had more experience as a head coach. But I don't view this as a strong squad. Finishing 5th or 6th seems possible, but so does not making the playoffs.

I’m not shocked at losing. I am however, stunned at the sheer implosion. Lots of players played 18-20 minutes. I don’t think people have clearly defined roles right now and in basketball that’s huge. And every game new players and whatnot.

We are running out of time though.

I was shocked at the Liberty's play. LV is without 2 key players, Wilson had a terrible game, and McBride didn't get going until the second half. Big Bill doesn't have this team completely worked out either, as evidenced by starting Plum over Allen, and not giving Hamby enough minutes earlier in the game. Plus the OT game last night. I expected more from NY.

Agreed on all counts.

Another daunting situation is how we have 8 games in 14 days starting 6/22. This has been by far the easiest part of the schedule and we’re 3-5 and trending down. This is potentially where our depth can help. Hopefully we’ll have set rotations by then. And Stokes for bigger minutes. We were much better defensively with her tonight. Ugh. We’ll see. I don’t usually take one game as a be-all end-all. Tonight, however was impossible to ignore.

Watching third quarter again. We missed so many open shots. My gosh.

I know this is a little ironic but all game I was like, we have too many players, especially on the perimeter, just leave some players in and let them work it out.

I was just watching the re-show game on MSG+ and I will say this Laimbeer sure knew how to shut down Charles even though she scored a bunch of points but she was pretty much taken out of the gam after the 1st quarter. Also no fatigue for the Aces, most of them are pretty young so last night's win seemed to energize them. NY on the other hand looked a little tired and confused once Charles was taken out of the game.
