Still the Palm Tree.

The dominant three-point scorer in NCAA history is dominating the entire WNBA with 3.3 3PM per game, significantly ahead of second place Princess Deia at 2.9.

Second leading scorer and assister among rookies. Shooting a higher FG% than the much, much taller (6-3) and much, much closer-to-the-basket A'ja Wilson.

Fun fact: Wilson and Mitchell are now #1 and #2 in points per 40.

Of course, Wilson is also 6th in the league in rebounding and #1 at getting to the free throw line. And one thing that's really impressive to me is how little she turns the ball over.

Wilson has a better ATO ratio than Mitchell. Explain that, palm tree lovers.

One thing Wilson needs to work on is developing a better touch on her bunnies. So many times I’ve seen her shoot them too hard and they go off on the other side of the rim. And being discouraged by her poor bunny shooting has probably caused her to settle for too many contested mid-range shots. If she’s more reliable on hitting the bunnies, Vegas wins more games, and we’re probably talking rookie MVP here.
