With a 3-0 win over Argentina, and the 0-0 draw between Colombia and Chile, Brazil qualifies for France 2019 becoming the 7th country to do so.

The final match day on Sunday will determine that 2nd birth. Chile vs. Argentina should be a solid game, but with Brazil already qualified, they could go easy vs. Colombia. Watched both games yesterday on Facebook Live and Chile really controlled most of that match. Such a shame the refs were on Colombia's side. Brazil really looks like they're back to Bea powerhouse.

Chile just defeated Argentina 4-0. Colombia would need to defeat Brazil by 5 goals to qualify automatically. A Brazil win over Colombia would send Argentina to the playoff vs. 4th place finisher from CONCACAF.

UEFA qualifiers still going on until September, but it clearly appears as though the group winners to qualify will be Spain, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Switzerland, England & Germany.

If England has a slip, Wales could grab it. Wales is just 2 points back with 3 matches left.

Switzerland should easily qualify.
Netherlands has Ireland only 3 points back...they can't let up
Same with Sweden over Denmark
Iceland is just 2 points back of Germany with a game in hand. Germany SHOULD qualify, but far from certain.
Italy should wrap their group on the next match day, being up 8 points on Belgium. Same goes for Spain.

It's amazing that the Euro Champions have a very good chance to miss out on the world cup. Denmark versus Netherlands will be tough tough match for those teams -- and then they have to win against either Switzerland or Belgium. Quite daunting. Scotland certainly sent a cask of whiskey to Poland for letting them win the group over Switzerland.

FIFA screws over Women's World Cup. Schedules CONCACAF & CONMEBOL men's championships during same time frame. TV schedules should be interesting.

TODAY
Group B
Costa Rica 8 - Cuba 0
Canada 2 - Jamaica 0

Don't let the Canada-Jamaica score fool you. Jamaica looked really solid vs. Canada. The two goals came on silly mistakes by Jamaica. Be interesting to see if Jamaica can get by Costa Rica and advance to the semis.
