I Think the aces have a real shot in this one. Atlanta should be a bit worn down after that tough game against CONN the other night then having the travel to vegas the next day.

Could happen. Dream lost to the Stars last year, and twice in 2016. Still I think the Dream should be able to win this one.

The Las Vegas (and surrounding county) school district is the fifth largest in the the country, after only NYC, LA, Chicago, and Miami-Dade.

Apparently blacked out in my region even though there is no way to get the ATT channel here. Does this make sense?

It's ridiculous that it's necessary, I agree, but you could try a VPN. Make the WNBA website think you're in Outer Mongolia and you're fine Smile.

Did they give her a do over on that or did it count as a miss. I thought she got a do over.

Good.

A flagrant by the Lady Lady Vol.

Allen should start instead of Plum.

Bless her heart. Hamby's two steals in the last minute helped my FD lineup oh so much! Thank you Hamby! Cool

87-83 ATL final

Hayes 24 pts, 3 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl
McCoughtry 23 pts, 9 reb, 6 ast, 2 stl

Wilson 20 pts, 9 reb, 3 ast
McBride 13 pts, 6 reb, 1 ast, 2 stl

Laimbeer screwed up by not playing Hamby longer... only 16 min. She's the one who made the final score as close as it was.

Laimbeer should dump either Swords or Bone and start Wilson and Hamby.

If Collen insists on keeping Montgomery in the starting lineup, she really should designate McCoughtry as the primary ball-handler. I mean, there's not a single player on the Dream whose first instinct when they get the ball is to pass it, but at least McCoughtry has proven that she can get her teammates easy shots, which is more than anyone else for Atlanta can say. Montgomery seems more like a catch-and-shoot type than a shoot-off-the-dribble type, anyway.

Going in all in on Montgomery and leaving Clarendon to languish is baffling to me.

Agreed about Clarendon wasting away on their bench. Someone should try and trade for her.

re: Montgomery starting

Note that Atlanta has only led at the end of the 1st quarter once this season

It's been said on the broadcasts multiple times that one of their key priorities this offseason was going after Montgomery. I can't help wondering if one of the things they had to do to achieve that priority was promising Montgomery the starting job.
