Pilight, I know you have your rules, but no Fowles or Cambage?

The rules don't lie.

(But I voted for someone else - DJ Lizzy C)

There were too many options to fit in the poll, so Fowles got cut (along with Griner, Hayes, and Taurasi). Cambage hasn't gotten any MVP points so far,

Wow, this is different. Usually you only give 3 or 4 choices. Progress....

But pilight is mistaken. There’s room for 15 options on a poll. Pilight only used 13. That leaves room for two viable and worthy options in Cambage and Fowles.... certainly more viable and worthy than Bentley.

In fact, I’m not going by the current data for my choice this week, which is too small of a sample size to determine anything, but projecting Dallas will get things together despite having Fred as coach, and Cambage will be a biggest part of that.

I could have cut fewer players. No one has more than two MVP points at the moment, so I cut every player with only one who's on a .500 or worse team.

Not that it's worth being too concerned about at this point of the season, but I've bumped up the poll options limit to 20. (Which I suspect might be counterproductive, but we'll see)

I was just about to complain about an obvious omission but I see you fixed it Wink

Thanks Luuuc. I’ve always wondered if that could be changed or why there needed to be a limit. Any chance there could be an hours instead of days option on the poll? I suppose that’s too advanced for this software.

Yeah, hours would be great, but is not an option unfortunately (at least in this old version ... which I am still determined to upgrade as soon as possible, but that's another story).

The number of poll options can be increased a lot more, but for practicality I think having too many poll options is probably more trouble than it is worth until you have a lot more people voting than we typically get here at the moment.
You're the pollmeister though ... do you think it needs to be > 20?

My vote is for Courtney Vandersloot. She will put this team on her back and carry them to the playoffs. Just like Aaron Rodgers does for Green Bay Packers. Very Happy

I like it that the vote is so spread out. Keep up the parity folks!

I thought these polls are for who is the MVP of season so far? And a player provides zero value when they don't play. (And yes, some players make their teams better by not playing because they provide negative value while playing).

Fowles got a historic 23 pts, 20 reb, and 5 steals against Dallas, but that don’t mean no never mind.

Right now, they both play for .500 teams. That doesn't get you an MVP award.
