how can that possibly be a foul on Gray?

Bad call on the floor, but I believe the replay rules don't allow rescinding the foul based on replay. Best they could do was make the techs offset, to reduce the amount by which the Sparks got screwed on the sequence.

Mercury just aren't playing well this quarter. Griner a non-factor and this Phoenix Mercury bench hasn't done much for them today.

According to WNBA.com's ailing boxscore, Chelsea has 20 points and is one assist away from a double double.

lasik can be great, but when it fails, it really fails.

are you someplace other than this?
http://www.wnba.com/game/20180527/PHOLAS/

that still gives me a blank screen.

Sparks definitely look like a championship team. Right now, I'd love a Sparks-Sun Finals.

It's not blank for me, but it updates really slowly. The game is over, but the .com boxscore shows 76-72 Sparks.

It just updated to 78-72 Sparks a few seconds ago.

Not a bad win with a rusty CP3. Looking forward to Jantel coming back soon. Hopefully, Maria will be here by next weekend for the game against Minny.

EDIT: I didn't realize we have six days to rest up and get ready for World War II against Las Lynx. I suppose a decision has to be made with respect to Karlie or Sydney, especially if both Jantel & Masha are expected by next weekend. I want us to go up 2-Love over Las Lynx this coming weekend.

Be 6'9 and grab only 4 rebounds in 35 total minutes.....five players in this game had 6 or more rebounds...Griner was not one of them.

I don't think they win this game without CP3 that team was just too tall. Griner would have killed them. They needed the Nanika Parker double teams.

I know. That's why I have been impatiently waiting for our missing bigs to arrive. Even young Maria has experience playing against the likes of Griner abroad. Now she will have talented passers like Chelsea & Candace to feed her the rock. Jantel tends to pull defenders out of the paint to defend her midrange game, which just opens things up inside for Nneka & Ace.

The good thing is Brain has everyone moving without the ball, which works against allowing tall defenders to get established defensively. They got worn down with this tactic against the young Sun team, but with our trio of 6-feet, 4-inch towers coming back this will become less of an issue. It seems like everyone is buying into Brian bball.
