I am assuming that we will be without Parker and Lavender again, but hopefully will be back at full strength for the home opener on Sunday. If Parker's back is feeling better, then it would be really awesome for the team to fly her out, even if only for the game. With the change in schedule, and "every game counting", this is not one that I would like the Sparks to lose because of lack of personnel.

Connecticut is a good team and will have more big, athletic posts to contend with, such as J. Jones and C. Ogwumike. Given that we will likely have to go small, we will have to apply pressure on the defensive end, like we did against Minnesota on Sunday, to give us the best chance to win. I am hoping for the best, but I see it either as the Sparks winning a close one or the Sun coasting to a double digit victory, not sure which, but I don't see any in between.

Go Sparks!!

Though I'm sure most people want a Sparks-Lynx finals again, this could potentially be a finals preview. Let's see how the Sun do vs. a short handed Sparks team.

Yeah, I expect Connecticut to try to out-height the Sparks. It should be an interesting contrast in styles.

I think the only people that want another Sparks/Lynx finals is ESPN. Frankly I’m tired of the Lynx and cant wait til their players start retiring.

I doubt it. Jones missed training camp so thats why she is not starting

I just can't see Samuelson not being picked-up by someone after everyone arrives for LA. I wouldn't mind the Liberty grabbing her and cutting R. Allen.

That halftime bit illustrates Augustus' low basketball IQ. Why didn't she foul with one to give? They would have been under 3 sec left. SpaceJunkie can't blame Reeve for that one, other than having Augustus out there guarding Gray in the first place.

It's really something to go from Kara Lawson's in-depth discussion on Beard's defensive strengths and the mental impact she has on guards to ..... Rebecca Lobo talking about the broken printer by the Connecticut bench.

yeah, don't care for this "behind the bench commentary". Plus I don't think the coaches like it either.

What the Sparks are doing and how they play with only 1 postplayer is impressive.

Don't know why she is complaining, she just runs people over and should have fouled out.
