The lack of adjustments from Chicago is hilarious. How many post ups leading to turnovers do you need to see before you stop trying to do that?

No way a player can ever find a Rhythm to the game if they are being subbed out every TV timeout. I think its safe to say this is the Chicago team we all expected to see.

In hindsight, I feel like the people who voted for Chicago were saying more about what they think of the Dream than what they think of the Sky.

Agreed, I really don't know why twice as many people thought the Sky were going to win this game. Laughing

Stocks must to do a better job of making in-game adjustments, leaving the hot hand in the game, and putting different lineups on the court to keep the opposition guessing.

2 mediocre ones, actually!

Well, to her the bench is just as good as the starters, so there's no difference!

That's the problem...Hopkins/Williams should be coming off the bench...Faulkner/Parker should be starting.

Was rooting for the Sky but nice that Collen got her first win.

The problem with trying to tire out another team with your depth is that foul shots stop the game so much. Change foul shots to automatic points awarded and every team would be doing line changes like hockey. But Chicago could try and be constantly moving on offense and always pressuring the ball on defense to force the opposing team to be more active.

And followed that up with what today?

DD's game is flashes of brilliance followed by periods forgettable play.

Inconsistentcy is her MO.

The Williams power forward experiment should end as soon as possible. Geno was able to get away with her playing that position in college but the WNBA is a totally different animal.
The Sky has two big hungry post players that are ready to work hard and show what they can do. As long as Stocks plays undersized Williams at the power forward position the Sky will be at a disadvantage against most teams in the WNBA.

The roster is not well-constructed. You would like to have one of Dolson/Coates and one of DeShields/Williams -- but since you don't, it seems like playing three of the four at any given time makes the most sense. (This of course assumes that Coates will eventually be a legit WNBA starter, which may or may not be true.)

It is also the MO of rookies..

The Sky have two big hungry post players on the bench that are ready to chomp down on some rebounds like some sistas at a Chinese restaurant buffet. Feed them big women. FEED THEM!
