Are you ready to project Amber Stocks as the COY based on the early gravy schedule?

Just noticed that the Fever were 7-7 at this point last season. And the Lynx were 12-1.

So far not much proof that Angel or the coaching change is making the Dream any better. Of course, all they have to do is avoid a 10 game losing streak and they probably will end up better bu the time the season ends.

Same can be said for the Wings. But people know our losses are mostly because of the sideline leader and not the players themselves.

But Fred was coaching last year, so it is surprising that Dallas has the same record (so far) as last year, when their roster was considered upgraded.

Bah dump bump. But the point is, the coach is factored out of the changes equation. The Dallas Wings (whose lineup may get over-rated) was supposed to have been upgraded and yet they have the same record (so far). So the lineup change may not have been as good as thought. But it's still early.

It's not really that early now. The season is about half over. Dallas has played 15 games while some teams have played 17 or 18. The rest of the teams have played 16 games. The time to start improving records is now.

There's an upper limit on how good your team can be if Fred Williams is the coach. He's had seven full seasons for three different teams and has never won more than 18 games.

I think people tend to forget how bad the San Antonio Stars were last year.
