Sounds like Park is going to make this team. LVFO was just live on Instagram for the press conference post game. He was impressed. Shes looked very good from the minimal footage ive seen for a 19 yr Old.

Judging by some pics, looks like the Aces had a good turnout for their preseason game.

Very sad. What a great, great talent that was derailed by injuries ...

It’s all about keeping 15 in camp. Plum and McBride are slow getting back.

I’m trying to remember what Chicago did last year, because Las Vegas has a similar situation going on with their guards this season. Plum and McBride won’t likely be back until after the season starts, never mind being ready to play. Jefferson seems to be still rehabbing but at least she’s probably becoming familiar with the new system. Plum as a PG knows nothing about the new system. Colson could be the heavy minute starter for the foreseeable future. Who is going to back her up? He already cut Brooke Johnson. Morgan William is on a training camp contract. There must be a way of extending her time without making the final roster. 7 day contracts? Special provisions for teams who have players coming back late from overseas?

The Sky mostly used Cappie Pondexter as a do it all guard. She played the one when Sloot was out and the two when Quigley was out and backed up both of them. They also tried out Epps a little in the early season.

I'm assuming they are at least watching video of practice and would have details from the playbook as well. It's not the same of course but will help. I remember her coach saying Plum was a video-aholic in terms of analyzing game film.

Like Brittany Boyd, no one seems to know anything substantive about Moriah Jefferson's health.
Anyone have any idea a) what's actually wrong with her, and b) when she'll be 100%?

MGM CEO says it's 'highly likely' Las Vegas lands NBA team within 5 years
https://www.ktnv.com/sports/mgm-ceo-says-las-vegas-could-land-nba-team-within-5-years
Quote: |
“I think it’s highly likely that a team, or multiple teams, will be looking to move over the next three years,” Murren told the Las Vegas Sun. “We know who they are, that’s why I think it’s highly likely. I would expect that Las Vegas will have an NBA team within the next five years, if not sooner. That team would likely play at T-Mobile (Arena).” |
Quote: |
“We’re in the WNBA for a reason,” Hornbuckle said. “They’re (NBA) very focused on this market — they’re very interested to see what happens. So, I think three to five-years is very real in terms of somebody coming to us and saying, ‘We want to move a team (to Las Vegas),’ and then we’ll have some considerations to make in terms of if it happens or not.” |
