The fact that there is a sustainable professional women's basketball league in the United States, one that has lasted more than 20 years, is on many levels an incredible achievement.

The WNBA may not be the league many hoped it would be, but it is the best in the world and despite the naysayers, is in no danger of fading away any time soon.
