Link?
Not to single out pilight, but when mentioning these things on the message board, it is helpful to provide a link, whether to a Twitter account or a news article.
And if it is a news article, it is helpful for us to click it, as newspapers (and advertisers) are tracking site visits and clicks.

not surprising. I expected at least one of their posts to move on. And IMO more likely two. (the other being Giomi)
They have Boley coming and little Sabally, so not much hope for these two to get minutes.

Twitter said 9, and there was quite a little sub-discussion. The players cut were really hurt by it but putting on a brave face. I think it's a really s**tty way to treat people, not just basketball players. I was informed that this was not atypical of HBCUs, and that NC Central did not value WBB in the least. However, I stated my above comment about how I felt it was a bad way to treat people in general and that I felt a HBCU should be more aware of that but apparently was not, and that did get some agreement. I don't know that it's going to get Ms. Stafford-Odom, or NC Central, much goodwill. |

NCCU has decided to take the high road. Good for them.

The question remains as to who and how many Odom has recruited to replace them on the team.

I don't know if only confirmed information is to be posted in this thread, or if "internet rumors" are welcome, but if the latter, this was culled from a Baylor WBB forum ( so consider the source):
"I'm hearing that the 2017 class at Texas will be transferring. Supposedly Boothe has left already and they are saying that Patterson is on the fence. If you look at Patterson's twitter page, she has removed the Texas header and all the Texas stuff out her bio. Guess we will wait and see"
Please say so if only confirmed info is desired, and let me know if I should delete this post.
(I bet Clay wouldn't be surprised by Boothe)

This one is long overdue. She looked like she was really enjoying being on this team but she was not going to get off the bench. I'm wondering if she can stay in the Pac or moves on to another conference.

Second year at TCU, here were her numbers:
10.4 ppg, 103 assists, 42.1 percent from the floor, over 39 percent from three (65 made threes last year).
She did not have a great first year, but she had a good second year

I was unaware boothe got suspended for the NCAA tourney . I never understood the choice of texas anyway , She was not going to play in front of any of the posts and she definitely would be passed up by Sedona Prince. She needs to commit to getting in shape and become a coach able player. A lot of rumors about her attitude and work ethic down in austin were flying all season.

After watching her live , im not sure her AA status was deserved to be honest. I dont see big time schools running to her , she did have a great All American game hitting alot of three's but she was another Version of Meghan Simmons and more so on the low end .

What schools are running to Ramirez, or any other transfer? Are there reports?

I thought she looked excellent as part of the USA Basketball U18 team in the FIBA Americas tournament. I was disappointed that she didn't look comfortable or turn into a big scorer at TCU. Maybe that had something to do with the quality of her coaching and teammates there. I wouldn't be bothered to see her in an Irish uniform, although I think the likelihood of that is remote at best. She had one of the sweetest jumpshots I've seen.
I don't see any similarity to Simmons.

My similarities were more on the microwave type player side.

If Boothe was suspended, I'm pretty sure there were some damn good reasons for it. Karen Aston is a very strict coach in the manner of Pat Summitt and she won't put up with a bad attitude or sloppy academics. Look how she did Joyner Holmes....and Holmes came back a better person and a better team player. If Both wants to be a prima donna she might find that other coaches won't be so quick to put up with that attitude either.

Holmes got suspended by the School not by Karen. This was all UT they let her come back in the second semester. It was a 2 semester suspension .FYI

I did know that, but I also know that Karen set some stricy standards on her wfen she came back and I know she’s generally strict about behavior. Boothe apparently didn’t take that seriously enough.

Apparently Marquette junior Olivia Moskari from Finland is graduating early as Marquette's release about their upcoming banquet says:
We will also be honoring the contributions of senior players, Shantelle Valentine and Olivia Moskari
Moskari was one of 7 members of Marquette's current junior class (there were 8 originally as freshmen) so my best guess is she's graduating early. Full release:
