How good for the sport is it that both games went into OT? I'm betting that there will be more sports talk about this than past Semifinal talk.

Agree this was a pleasant surprise...makes up for a blah elite eight...with a very good sweet 16 and a 1/2 rounds that had enough upsets and close games to be interesting if not anything overtly spectacular

this final four as long as the NC game is solid drags up this tourney from a B- to a B+ good score

last 3 years (Tho 2 years ago was on the wings of Upset Saturday, the final 4 was pretty blah) have all been solid Bs to As We'll see if Sunday will bring it up to the A range but I'm a tough grader and grade the tourney as a whole and it was a pretty ho hum elite 8.

MY concern for Sunday is that they both played overtime games and they may be mentally and physically spent.

The margin of victory in the Elite 8 games averaged 22 points. Last night's OT games both confirmed the SelCom got the #1 seeds right and made the tournament more watchable for the fans. They both also reaffirmed how bad the officiating is in WCBB.
