Notre Dame isn't having success lobbing the ball inside.

Well at least Geno has access to all of his top players...pretty sure there are at least 1 or 2 top players that would make a huge difference for Notre Dame if they weren't nursing a torn ACL.

Anyway, I am hoping for a helluva game.

At least ND has that player of which ncaa transfer rules don't apply to.

Hallelujah it might be a game.

The NCAA transfer rule worked just fine.

Great defense by ND. UConn's top turnoverer, Williams, is fumbly so far. Get Stevens in the game.

Well that has nothing to do with anything we are talking about, but I have been on record saying that is bullshit.

When was the last time that UConn had a shot clock violation? Or at least down to .5?

I kind of wish that Kat would stop taking those threes.

UCONN only shooting 28%. Notre Dame 54%. I'd expect that to change soon.

How many top players are on Notre Dame's roster? Nine? Ten?

Is there any doubt that Turner would be in the 6 or 7 player rotation with everyone healthy? No, probably not. And losing your starting PG in Thompson would probably also qualify, but it could be argued this current lineup might be better. Anyway, like I said in my original comment, at least 1 or 2 of their top 7 players on the roster aren't available.

I'm beating a dead horse but Turner was lost last April. And lets not forget that McGraw got a huge unexpected addition to their roster with Shepard. The only key loss has been the Stanford transfer.

Game could be over. UConn can't run offense and can't stop ND's drives.

Notre Dame's defense is stifling. UCONN only shooting 26% with 6 TOs. UCONN did win the rebounding battle that quarter.
