Purdue got their 2nd 2019 verbal from Rickie Woltman, a 6'2 post out of Incarnate Word in Missouri. She is very talented around the basket and actually was ranked the #1 PF in the nation prior to her sophomore season. She is currently the #5 PF & #34 overall player in the country according to Dan Olson of ESPN and #35 by Prospect Nation. She joins previously committed Bria Harmon, a 5'7 PG out of Suwanee, GA.

Wrong thread...this is for kids in the Class of 2019, not 2018

Mike neighbors receives a verbal from Destinee Oberg out of Minnesota. She's a 6'2" post who developed A relationship with Neighbors while he was coach at Washington. Supposedly she was being Recruited by most of the big 10 schools including Purdue, Maryland, both Michigan schools and Minnesota which we know isn't true because Stollings never recruits Minnesota kids (at least not the first time around).

She will add much needed size for the Razorbacks

Sara Stapleton, 6'3 post player from Centennial HS in Circle Pines, MN, has committed to Jonathan Tsipis and Wisconsin. She chose Wisconsin over Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota State, where her sister Sydney will begin playing next season.

Louisville received a commit from Ramani Parker, a 6'4" F our of Cali who HoopG has ranked as a top 15 player in 2019.

Parker has subsequently stopped playing for her high school team and will be focusing on training with a Fresno State AAu team for the rest of the season to work on conditioning and strength training to prepare for USA basketball trials.

Very interesting about her quitting/being removed from her high school team. The team (Central out of Fresno) was one of the best in the Central Section and had a good shot at advancing deep into the California playoffs.

I'm always suspicious of players who leave/are pushed off their high school teams as seniors, especially when the teams are good.

Parker is very talented, but all she'll get until mid-March is work with a trainer and pickup basketball.

And, as should be clear, I have no idea why she left the team, though I did hear they were having internal issues.

Emily Saunders, 6'4 C from Mullens, WV, has given a verbal commitment to Tennessee. She is a 4-star recruit and by her account has been a Lady Vol fan "just about all my life", thanks to her "papaw".

Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come for Wisconsin - would like to see their program revitalized.

Not exactly a ranking, but she is between 5th and 7th among juniors on the 2018 MaxPrep All-American Teams.

Had she picked UCONN , she would have shot up to #1 on every service as Christyn Williams magically did after committing .

Yes she is , not taking anything away from her talents. But i cannot be the only person to notice how she was ranked #3 & #2 by multiple different services then once she accepted UCONN's offer she became #1. Same thing happened when ONO chose UCONN , somehow the services leapfrogged her over the now Decommited Charlie ...hmmmm

The bigger story may be that the player named after Azzi appeared to be in the group with her as she announced her decision.
