If anything it's a foul on Mabrey for gabbing Ionescu's arm as she ran by.

Is there anything about ND that you won't bitch about?

It's really getting old.

I agree with him. Mabrey initiated the contact. Guess it was karma that Young sat on her head.

Ionescu needs to stop playing hero ball.

I can't stand Mabrey's attitude either.

If they play UConn, it will be the two flop queens against each other. I think KLS will have her beat though.

Graves needs to hire a defensive specialist coach.

Can't be too critical of Graves here. Notre Dame gets a lot of those same plays against UConn. Oregon's problem is that Hebard/Sabally aren't 5's, are getting trampled by Shepard and are sophomore/freshman.

She plays with an edge. Same as sophie Cunningham but marina is not half as dirty of a player in my opinion. Marina is the MVP of this team if they win the title hands down muffetts best coaching performance ever.

I like ND's all-chubby five lineup.

This loss has to be on Kelly Graves for literally making no defensive adjustment.

I am so tired of players being allowed to switch pivot feet without a travel being called...it happens in every game all the time. Drives me crazy.

Sabally playing like a Freshman. Especially on defense, she just has no clue. They're better at this point with big body McGwire in there. I know she frustrates Graves because of lack of mobility but at least she provides some post defense.

But she clogs the middle for Hebard, much like Shepard might do for Turner next season.

It might be a bit by design. With such a short bench, you don't want to rack up the fouls in the 1st half.

Both these teams get upgrades next season and should be at least top 5 preseason.

Oregon put up a good fight, but they aren't getting past ND by letting Westbeld stand around in the paint wide open all game long.

Fun watching Bando shoot the ball the last 4 years. The Ducks are young so next year they'll be right back at it next season.

Congrats ND. I hope you have a better game plan than slow it down like SoCar did.

I am really impressed with what Muffet and her staff have been able to do with this team this year. All those injuries and they are getting to the Final Four. It has really been pretty remarkable.

Kelly Graves is a very good coach. No doubt about it. And I agree some of the issues here are the youthfulness on the floor. Still they've struggled all year defensively and they're just too good a team to be abused this way. It's like their offense is good enough that they don't have to defend a lot of teams, but now when they need it, it ain't there. Specifically there were numerous sets where ND had three offensive players around the 3 pt line and two in the paint...and where was Oregon's defense? They had 4 players out at the three pt line. What happens? Post layup. Duh. I mean it doesn't take a genius to realize that defensive set isn't going to work. Once, ok, but multiple times in the same game? Nuh,uh. And really, the scout on ND is that you have to guard Arike and Mabrey out there, but Young is only gonna score on drives so it's not like you need 4 defenders on the three of them! Hence my comment that they need a defensive coach...

Muffet uber alles.

Came into this game strongly rooting against ND, but Oregon's non-teamwork offense and non-teamwork defense completely turned me off, and turned me.

So, it's another UConn-ND repeat. Ugh.

Actually on offense, they play her more like a 4 - she has touch out to about 15 ft. But defensively she's great in the paint against players with size and bulk.

Plus Sabally had no idea how to play help side defense. It's too late in the year to claim it's because she's a Freshman.

Oregon is going to love having Erin Boley next year to go along with Ruthy Hebard and Sabrina Ionescu and the Sabally sisters and Maite. Lots of talent returning. I think they are certainly a preaseason pick for Final Four next year. Still feels like a missed opportunity tonight but happens! Congrats to Notre Dame, can't wait to watch you get the S#%& knocked out of you on Friday Wink

You need to go back and look at it again...and not listen to what the announcer says.

MM was just standing there when SI ran into her. She did not stick her arm out. She did not grab her. I'm wondering if she hit MM's sore hand.
