There's really only one call so far that I Have a problem with and that was one where I complained that I thought that a the tip or foul should have been called on that three by Mabrey.

Can't believe ND is only down 2. I'd say that's a win!

Other than free throws, the stats are pretty even.

ND record for threes made in a game is 8 on 12 attempts.

Record for attempts is 15 with only 6 made.

Mabrey is 7-11 so far.

That was a bad call on the baseline violation I think.

It's too bad Howard isn't 3-4 inches taller she is a relentless rebounder.

At this point it looks like the refs are screwing Texas. Seems like they want to see ND and UCon play as they figure South Carolina won't beat UCon. That is probably the game the committee wants to see.

Sheila McMillen in the BET against St. John's. I remember seeing that in person. It was one of the years it was at the RAC.

How is it that we're in the last 43 seconds of this game already?

I like Gary Blair. Got to talk to him a few years ago in Indy. Seems like a great guy.

At least we won't hear any more of those idiotic "Carter actually shot a 3 when they were down only 2 to DePaul"comments.

Statistically, that's actually the correct move. When they say that the regular shot is "higher percentage" they aren't factoring in that the 2 points gets you into OT, where it's 50/50 again while the 3 point shot wins the game.

So if you shoot, say, 33% for 3 and 50% for 2, for instance, the 3 point shot gives you a 33% chance of winning, but the 2 shot is actually only 25% in this case (50% (shot chance)*50% (chance of winning in OT)).
