Should the NCAA consider this? On the women's side, if the 2018 tournament were to be reseeded, we'd have:

1 UCONN vs. 11 Buffalo
1 Mississippi St. vs. 11 Central Michigan
1 Louisville vs. 6 Oregon St.
1 Notre Dame vs. 5 Duke
2 Baylor vs. 4 NC State
2 Oregon vs. 4 Texas A&M
2 Texas vs 4 Stanford
2 South Carolina vs 3 UCLA

Why make it easier for the remaining top seeds? And why punish teams that pull big upsets by making them play better opponents?

it would take a lot of the fun out of the cinderella runs. The idea for the underdogs is to show that their seeding wasn't correct. As pilight says, this would just punish them for beating good teams.

SO ...I lost a bet with Rock about how many wins Chicago would get this year. My punishment - T. Young as my avatar. Well it could be worse!

I don't support re-seeding but if the committee were to do it then Duke would have to be swapped with TAMU to comply with their rule about conference foes not meeting till the E8.
