Well, the Massey spread is 30.5.

Normally I would jump on UConn here, but Geno has expressed so much admiration for Coach Fabbri and her team over the last couple of years that I wonder if he may apply the brakes earlier than usual.

Confused

I think he will, but I wish Coombs weren't out because it gives him one less reserve to pull off the bench. I also don't think the Q will try to run.

Extra challenge: UConn also has to beat Quinnipiac in hockey for the win to count.

You can close your eyes for the first 25 seconds of every Quinn possession and not miss anything. Looks a lot like Vic Schaefer's game plan last season.

it's the smart way to play UConn. Those who try to outscore them play right into their hands, imo.

Intelligent game plan by Q, not like that idiotic St. Francis plan. Solid defense and good ball movement on offense, even though they are mostly over-matched SSG's.

Little Fez can't hit the ocean on her own shots so far in the tourney.

Not questioning the strategy's correctness but it's like watching paint dry. About as entertaining as curling. Open shots in the first 10 seconds of a possession are routinely passed on despite leading to clock violations.

Let's get rid of the shot clock and bring the four corner offense back into prominence. Rolling Eyes

SO there are three much more interesting games going on, but we're stuck here. Thank God for Watch ESPN.

See, if you had DirecTV you could have ALL the games on live in 1080p.😀

Quinn positives

6 TO's through 3 periods and at least 3 of them are clock violations

UConn has 2 offensive rebounds (of course they have only missed 12 shots)

ESPN needs to fucking go away. They have no earthly purpose. Not to mention how incompetent their leadership is.

The other three games are on upset alert and we get a 30 point game. Really?

the margins for the other 3 are 16, 21 & 24. Not exactly barnburners.

And if ESPN goes away who is going to show the games? I get one fucking fox sports station

Two of those games are 11 over 3! I don't care what the score is, that's still more interesting to me than a 1 over 9. At least there's still some hope that the higher seeded (better?) team will come back and make it a game.

1 over 9...not so much.

Yes. It's seems as though we've finally moved passed being a slave to the bullshit whiparound.

Unless one can't afford it, or lives under a thick tree canopy, I don't see why a serious WCB fan wouldn't choose DTV.

The Bulls will be driving down 90 in many numbers to get to Albany from Buffalo. Home court advantage in the South Carolina Game - who would have thought.

Or if you're a Pac-12 fan. DirecTV doesn't carry Pac-12 networks, so I've got Comcast.

Good point. That clusterf**k is very annoying.

So what's with the score? Did Geno play his bench out of respect for the neighbors, is the Bobcats' defense that good, or did the Huskies take the night off?

The one elephant in the room which no mentioned during the game but Geno had mentioned after the AAC Championship game; the fact that Samuelson, Williams and Dangerfield injuries are going to factor in to them having sub par performances when playing a game with only a day's rest in between. it is going to be a significant factor going forward for the Huskies as unless, Collier, Nurse, Stevens and Walker can step up and fill the void for the three aforementioned injured players, the Huskies will not advance playing against much better quality teams. No excuses, just the way it is as the old saying goes, injuries are part of the game.

Gotta love AppleTV. Used picture in picture swapping between UConn and Ohio State games at commercials. Could've gone all four but they already weren't close either.

I had it, the trees filled in after a couple of years and blocked the local channels from broadcasting. Switched to cable.

Pace of play. With it being the last game at Gampel for the year, and the final for Nurse and Williams, they were going to play until they didn't want to.
