Potentially the most competitive game of the night.

They joked about the potential for low scoring: the team that scores the fewest will lose. Yeah, sort of like that really special bike "race" in which the person who can keep the bicycle upright without actually falling over is "the winner." The score will be higher than before the shot clock. How much higher is the question. The team that breaks 50 will undoubtedly win the game.

Oh no, Duke vs. and SEC team. Somebody has to win!
Does Duke get a banner if they end up making it further in the NCAA Tournament than the 8-time National Champion Tennessee?

Edit: Duke is up big! Why did I not pick them to win? Shocked

Duke is smoking UGA.

UGA looks tonight like such a stereotypical SEC team. Great speed, great athleticism, focus on defense, paucity of actual basketball players, and no offense.

They're going to have fewer than 20 pts in the first half.

35-14 at the half.

FOURTEEN POINTS in the first twenty minutes. SEC! SEC! SEC!

So either Duke isn't as bad as RAF tells us, or every team in the WBB except a half-dozen are terrible. Shocked

Or, most likely, both.

26 pts after 3 periods for Georgia. If this was an SEC game they'd still be in it.

A good coach emphasizes defense.

I can't wait for all the articles about whether or not Duke's dominance is bad for WBB. Smile

A defensive masterpiece and highly competent offense by JPM and her numerals.

Neither does the shambles of my bracket. I thought Mercer was going to beat them.
