FSU is just not a smart team. Their shot selection is really questionable.

They make up for it with athleticism. But you just can't beat elite teams like that.

Buffalo scored 14 points by the 5 minute mark, but wasn't able to keep up the pace and is behind in the second quarter.

You spoke too soon.

Buffalo has a 9 pt lead at the half.

Maybe when I said you can't be elite teams like that I should have added you might not beat good mid majors like that either.

Too much MACtion tonight for me to keep up with. I was watching CMU on ESPN2 while trying to keep with Toledo's WNIT game against Michigan State, and Buffalo went on a run while my head was turned.

I'll say this. Neither CMU nor Buffalo are intimidated by their opponent or the setting.

Still likely both will fade in the second half, but they certainly both look impressive so far.

That's usually the problem with MAC teams on the big stage. They come out with the yips and get barbecued in the first round. But the teams this year have more confidence. I don't see them as fading late in these games now that they have some traction.

Interesting. I'm not saying they will win this game or the next, but plainly they are capable of winning this game, and if they can win this one over FSU, then it's not unrealstic to think they could beat SCar too.

I can't decide which of the three "B team" games to watch!

yeah, I feel your pain.

Speaking of pain, Thomas' shot is just so painful to watch.

What a season for Buffalo--and who saw THIS coming from the MAC!! And this Buffalo team lost to perennially anemic Niagara in their backyard earlier this season.

the last 2:30 of this game could take an hour the way the refs are blowing their whistles. Thomas has gone to the line 3 times on very dubious calls.

21 point beatdown for the Bulls. I still can't believe PG Stephanie Reid was only a second team all-MAC pick this year. I'll bet she gets at least a training camp WNBA look -- maybe even a draft pick.

That USF loss doesn't look so bad now.

So it's Duke vs UConn and Buffalo vs S Carolina in Albany.

I though the Bulls might be the Cinderella in Albany but not this one.

The Times Union Center was already going to be heavily anti-SCarolina, but with the Bulls' win, it'll be even more so.
