Yep. Of course then the Raiders commit one as well with the hold.

And once again, undisciplined play by Colgate allows the Badgers back in.

Power play goal.

3-3.

Aaaaaaaand......OVERTIME!

Does not bode well for Colgate. Hopefully for them they can hold off the Badgers' blitz long enough for the Badgers to make a mistake.

Colgate needs to come out with some intensity from the face-off. They haven't gotten going until the last 6-8 minutes of each period. And if Wisc commits another stupid penalty...

It's tough for Colgate to do that as Wisconsin is a significantly "better" team than them. The problem with Wisconsin is that they get too aggressive at times and make silly mistakes that make them beatable.

Unfortunately for Colgate so far, the Raiders have become undisciplined at times and gave up that advantage. They would already have stolen this game if they had just battened down the hatches and not gotten grabby.

2nd OT coming up.

3-3.

Badgers outshooting the Raiders 41-21. Colgate needs to make a move soon, or attrition will be their downfall.

Colgate is looking very fatigued, resulting in a lot of pressure on Van Dyk. Trying to remain optimistic here.

Me too. But you can see them losing their spacing in their own zone. Lanes are there now.

I think they might need some puck luck soon, or a Badger mistake.

It really was too, until it wasn't.

Ultimately it was as I called it, survive until Wisconsin made a costly mistake.

History has also been made. No WCHA presence in the championship game!

BWB had the hatty, but IMO Vandyk was the MVP of the game.

An all-ECAC final. Who woulda thunk it. It's been a long time coming.

Both Wilson-Bennett and VanDyk played a great game.

Well, congrats Colgate, you've officially arrived.

And well played Wisconsin, sometimes the breaks go against you and the better team on the ice loses the game. One of the crazy aspects of this wonderful, heartbreaking game.

Sorry, but starting next year I have to root for Wisconsin for a while- daughter of one of my mom's friends will be one of the backup goalies.
