"The" Market says Sade and Norah Jones, with Diana Krall trailing by a bit.


Terri Lyne Carrington and Geri Allen played a pile of shows with Esperanza Spalding, and for their larger projects picked Diana Reeves. That's pretty good company.
Spalding is probably the best musician + who happens to be a really good singer to go with it. Plus non of the other singers managed to punk Justin Beiber Laughing on so high a stage.

Betty Carter always deserves a mention.
Cecile McLorin Salvant is very good. Very very good.
Purists and Jazz Police types can sit right here and be happy as a peach.
