The proper stuff starts today with the best-of-three quarter-finals. All live and free at FIBA's YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/FIBAWorld/featured
UMMC with Griner/Maya et al are already in the process of beating up USK Prague. |

97-70 UMMC Final
Moore with game high 29 pts (12-17), 7 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl
I got to see Musina extended minutes probably because UMMC was up so much when I started watching. She doesn’t seem half bad for somebody who’d be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. She hit 2 threes of the 4 shots she took.
I believe plays PF but she seems a bit soft to play PF in the WNBA. As a SF she’d probably be too slow and unathletic, but if she wants to work hard enough maybe there’s something there.
Zahui had 13 pts for ZVVZ but it was an inefficient 4-16 (3-5 from three). She still loves taking those threes, probably cuz she was going up against Griner and shot 1-11 from two.
Bonner was glued to the bench the whole time I watched. Not sure why. She didn’t have foul trouble but it didn’t look like she was having a great game either.
The Elhotova that the Lynx apparently own the rights to but didn’t make a qualifying offer had a team high 17 pts for ZVVZ.
Alba Torrens seemed like a PG out there. Flashy passing similar to Ticha P. She had 7 assists.

Thats always been her game , Her size makes me think SF but her game says PG. She's the 1 foreigner i wish would give the W a shot , But i don't blame her for not wanting to play in the backwoods. Sad story

First legs of the EuroCup quarter-finals are today, available at the same place, should anyone be interested. That's the secondary European competition, for teams that didn't quite qualify for the EuroLeague (or couldn't afford it). |

Coates was disappointing in Soprons loss to Fener , 0 Pts. Kia Vaughn and her had some foot races running up the floor but coates was the obvious winner . She will get most of her points that way so she will need to be ready in the W this summer.

Coates looks really good. Her roll timing in ball screen action has been perfect so far.
