QU is undefeated in MAAC play and beat Marist twice this season by 6 points each time, the 2nd in 2OT.
#2 Marist leads #1 Q15-12 end 1st.

A good one EARLY! Refreshing to see coaches be able to get tough kids who may not be the most talented to play the game the right way.
Both of these teams would beat UConn's bench by 10+.

These teams are made up of players that look like Kyla Irwin and Molly Bent yet they are totally competent and effective. Is the coaching the difference?

I don't know. I am befuddled by the incredible suckiness of the UConn bench. It's astounding, confounding, resounding.
There have got to be hundreds of girls better than them who meet the lofty CD/Geno standards, aren't there? I refuse to believe it isn't so.

Marist came right back and stayed within 2-5 until w/~ 2:00 left.
The lead was stretched to 9 w/ a minute to go.
Now 65-58 QU w/ 31.1 left. Marist ball.

Why is QUINNIPIAC such a hard name for some announcers?
The male pbp guy said it correctly the first few times I heard him, but has resorted to putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable the last few times.

| Maybe I'm biased because the MAAC is one of my home conferences, but how come everyone has so much trouble pronouncing Quinnipiac?

I have no idea either but then again I know about Quinnipiac from being a college hockey fan.
