It would be nice if carrying was enforced, but then 99.9% of those "ankle-breaking crossovers" would be whistled.

I was watching an Oregon game in which Ionescu made a crossover move, within which she literally carried the ball 4 ft from left to right before shooting and making a 3, and the announcers seemed to nearly experience an orgasm.

At some point Oregon will need to play some defense. Not tonight hopefully, but in the NCAAs it would be helpful. I guess there's not much chance of changing now. But they could be a really top flight team if they played some defense.

Smith being totally shitty for Stanford today...not just the missed shots but all the TOs! McPhee is coming back from the flu and still doesn't look in rhythm.

Laughing Laughing Don't think it's gonna happen but you have to love Landers saying that Stanford used to be a team of shot makers and now they are just a team of shot takers.

Mare Murphy is the only announcer that I can recall who presents a more subdued persona during an espn broadcast.

on the PAC12 network she's over the top. I wonder what the deal is. does she know we know she full of pac12 bluster usually?

Or maybe she has the flu.

agree. She's been the most reliable scorer all tournament. You would think they would recognize it. But maybe because she's a Freshman...

Nice to see Dodson giving useful minutes. I think we'll have some good times with the Williams/Dodson duo. And I like Carrington too. So we do have some youngsters. I'd still like to see a 6'6" smart girl to appear from somewhere.
