Taylor Swift isn’t getting satisfaction from Keith Richards.

The 74-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist took a swipe at the 28-year-old pop star’s success, saying, “Good luck girl ― wish her well while it lasts.”

Richards made the snide comment in The Wall Street Journal’s March Men’s Style issue posted Wednesday, and appeared to try to soften the dig as well.

“I’ve just been around too long to be picking the bones out of kids,” he continued. “It wouldn’t be fair of me and I’ve always been an opinionated b------ anyway. And I never did really like pop music ― even when I became pop music, I was listening to the blues and jazz and not interested in the hits.”

The legendary rocker has picked a bone with the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer before. In 2015, he called Swift (and Justin Bieber) the “flavor of the month.”

Album sales are one thing, but I'm pretty sure Taylor won't be performing before 100,000 people or more when she's in her seventies, and sending every single fan going home happy. I like Taylor Swift, but the Stones are ... THE STONES.

My favorite Rolling Stones song is Jumping Jack Flash. But while music streaming service Napster has Rolling Stones songs, I thought it didn't have the studio version of Jumping Jack Flash for some reason, just a live version done at the Beacon Theater. But this thread and your follow-up got me looking at a list of all the Rolling Stones tracks available on Napster, and I just realized that they do have the studio version. But it's titled "Jumpin' Jack Flash" while the live one is titled "Jumping Jack Flash", which is what I originally searched for.

But regarding longevity, I don't think there are very many singers who will be performing (or lip syncing as is often done these days - possibly even by the Rolling Stones) anywhere besides a small room in a remote Indian casino when they are over 70. I suspect there is some reason Richards has it in for Taylor Swift other than the fact that he thinks she won't have a long career.

Swift has a longer potential longevity than most singers. She is a singer/songwriter, and could go back to country music and perform into her fifties, even if people might not want to watch her at 75.
