The Stanford head coach was named the recipient of the annual Carol Eckman Award. Congrats to her!

Yes, thanks for sharing that list. Looking back, I am curious how Pat Summitt never received this award. The requirements says that it goes to the coach "who exemplifies Eckman's spirit, integrity and character through sportsmanship, commitment to the student-athlete, honesty, ethical behavior, courage and dedication to purpose."

Does this mean Pat Summitt never exemplified the traits that the Eckman Award was supposed to be about?

And the 2013 recipient, Jan Ross, was an assistant at Oklahoma. Why did she get this award, and not head coach Sherri Coale?
