It will be interesting to see if Margo applies herself to this opportunity and the expectations of the Sun.
One would have to believe she should be a dominant presence inside...after all, she is only 4" SHORTER THAN YAO MING, for Pete's sake.

She never has been - why should she start now?
I'm sure the Sun will be happy if she manages to put up numbers like she did for the Starzz. |

Offensively, less! She needs to rebound, block, and start the break. That's all! Any offense is a bonus.

That is the point...she never has been a presence, dominant or otherwise, so it is even more startling when you consider that she is so much taller than her competion.
The Utah days were her glory time, and if she can get back to that production, the Sun will have a center. Maybe she didn't like Texas??? Go figure...

I like the Sun a lot, it just seems to me that this addition of Margo is throwing a monkey wrench into the works, especially for two first round picks! |

you gotta look at it two ways Stever,
1. By size alone she will help when people get by Whalen or the steal attempts by Nykesha fail
2. It makes Taj happy because she can play more PF.
If you look at Taj as having app. 2 more years in the league, then you can see why the trade was done, the window of opportunity closing fast.

It will be easier for Taj to play. It;s not only because of the position (PF), but she can have more place. Or if the defence will be focused on Taj, than Margo would have more place to play. Margo with her "size" could be very important player only if the coach is really a coach. And tactics is more important for him than stars and individuals in a team.
