Yeah, I think we have to know whether the Liberty will exist, and what arena or arenas availability needs to checked out for, before we can have a schedule.

Fuck you, Jimmy Dolan. Fuck you with the power of a thousand blown draft picks.

I think a lot of people would.

Hopefully we'll be able to look back upon this and say, "Thank god Dolan and Thomas aren't involved with this organization anymore." I can't speak for Liberty fans, but not having those two run my team is as good a silver lining as any IMO...

Assuming (hoping) he's no longer with the Liberty, Isiah Thomas will have more time to hang out with Harvey Weinstein, Bill O'Reilly, Roy Moore, Bill Cosby, Matt Lauer, Kevin Spacey, etc. etc.

Why do people place such faith in unnamed sources cited by people not using real names? I'm not saying that anyone is lying. But I view none of this as trustworthy.

Nicki Collen said on an ATL sports radio show last night, that the schedule would come out today. She also said the original plan was for it to come out this Thursday, but the league decided to move it to today. Apparently they changed their mind again. Perhaps back to Thursday.

Both Chicago and Phoenix tweeted about it yesterday only to remove those tweets today. And I consider David Siegel and Doug Feinberg as solid sources. Both are questioning the delay.

And that's very much only the most recent 'original plan'.

Thu, 05/24/2018 7:00 PM-9:00 PM Los Angeles Sparks at Connecticut Sun
Fri, 06/01/2018 8:00 PM-10:00 PM Phoenix Mercury at Minnesota Lynx
Thu, 06/07/2018 10:00 PM-12:00 AM Seattle Storm at Los Angeles Sparks
Wed, 06/13/2018 7:00 PM-9:00 PM Washington Mystics at Connecticut Sun
Fri, 06/22/2018 10:00 PM-12:00 AM New York Liberty at Las Vegas Aces
Thu, 06/28/2018 10:00 PM-12:00 AM Los Angeles Sparks at Seattle Storm

Phoenix Mercury just released a video apologizing about the false alarm regarding the schedule. Said "it should be released soon".

The one great Las Vegas trip for WNBA fans is June 22-29. 4 games in 8 days.

Friday, June 22 New York
Sunday, June 24 Minnesota
Wednesday, June 27 Dallas
Friday, June 29 Los Angeles

That's what happens when you lose. You're a loser and are treated like a loser. Sorry Candy. Heck - Dream fans had to watch 3 teams celebrate winning the championship on the Dream home court. Suck it up - you can take it.

I would have no problem with the Lynx opening the season in LA had they lost game 5. Lynx vs Sparks is one of the league's biggest rivalries. Not sure how ESPN viewer #'s compare to other games aired on ESPN but Lynx vs. Sparks has to draw more than any other WNBA game.

They should make it up to her by officially presenting the uniforms to the national team members before the Sparks' 2nd home game.
Oh wait ...

The Lynx playing the Sparks is the biggest scandal to hit the WNBA in history. If the Lynx don't forfeit the game so the Sparks don't have to go to Minesota, the Lynx should be deemed inelgible for the postseason, have to forfeit their next 10 draft picks, and be forced to cut Maya Moore.

She's wrong, of course. It happens in other leagues all the time.
