LA needs to sign TOLO!

This

Does Marianna want to rejoin the Sparks?

I have no idea just wishful thinking on my part. We need a backup C. I also wouldn't mind trading for Imani too.If Dallas doesn't mind how about another draft pick from LA for Cambage lol.

Great move by Paris.....Underrated move by Seattle....The Storm will win 20+ games

That’s a pretty bold call. You’re basically saying they’ll become a Top 4 seed, just because they added Paris over Swords. Razz

I spoke too soon.....looking at the current rosters.Unless Seattle can sign S.Johnson, and trade the #5 pick for a post & guard,I just don't see them making the playoffs.....Chi,LV,ATL and Dal will be greatly improved....Seattle just doesn't have enough talent, depth, and size........Too many bad decisions over the last 6 years:

2017:No 1st rd pk(Swords trade)
2017:Failed to re-sign Thomas
2016:Drafted KML
2012:Drafted Stricklen

Fighting their way into the playoffs when they could have rested Bird, and got a lottery pick(2013,2014)

Oh, I want Mariana too. It's just that it's been a while and nothing seems to be happening. She does all the dirty work inside and we could have used here the last two years.

Players like Noelle Quinn stick around for a reason, and here's one unnoticed facet of a player's game that coaches treasure: Always being in the right spot on the floor, on offense and defense.

If you know every offensive set and every option, for every position you might play (and maybe for every player), your value goes way up because the coach can run anything at any time with you on the floor. (And there are a lot of players who struggle to learn one position, much less three.)

And on defense, if you play to the scouting report on every switch, and understand the defensive concept for the particular game you're playing, even if you're not as physically gifted as another player, you will help your team win. Just standing in the right spot can make a huge difference defensively -- and by the way, the right spot is not six inches to the left or right, but the exact right spot.

Veterans who keep hanging on, and players like Kelly Faris, are very, very likely to fit this profile. Fans wonder why they're still around, but coaches know.

I agree with this, thats what camps are for, easy to see those players who can't pick things up or follow scouting report or even know the basics os team defense and there are a lot more out there who don't than do.

Jennifer Lacy scratched out a 10 year career in the W, including winning a championship, doing the little things. She managed this feat despite not being drafted and coming from an unheralded mid-major.

This is the reason Geno gives for not starting Azura Stevens -- she's not in the right places.

So it's looking like Cappie to Minnesota is less likely now. Any guesses as to where she goes?

Indy (if they skip the rebuild and trade for Bonner seems possible).

Stay in Chicago?

Is LA off the table as well?

I don’t see any evidence anywhere that Kayla Pedersen re-signed with the Sun. Was that a typo?
