So they gave away their second round pick for Kayla Alexander. Interesting move eh? |
They swapped next year's second rounder for a third rounder next year and Alexander. Probably not much to give up to take a swing at having some actual height in the post. |

Mhmm. Our first off season signing period without KK is off to a roaring start. |
It was their second rounder in '19, no? Seems like fair value to me. |

It struck me more as a way for Bill to give her away. But I do think she can be useful in Indy.

Next year’s draft is pretty good first round, if nobody declares early. I doubt if it’s as deep as this one, although I haven’t looked into it too deeply.

I was suggesting that a team should draft her in the third round last year. She's had a pretty strong overseas season. If she somehow makes it, ClayK should tweak the locals on Bear Insider. |

Certainly worth a shot. Kinda funny that in the same year a Belgian decides to stay home for the first time, a different Belgian shows up for the first time. |

How many games does this team win this season? 8? Fewer?

Well, if Marissa Coleman has one of her good years and Briann January/Erlana Larkins are actually healthy and Tiffany Mitchell can get it going they might not be dead last. But I'm not sure where the defense and three point shooting will come from.

In the article, this part made me laugh:
Pronunciation: Hind Ben Abdelkader (rhymes with wind)
Um, they know wind can be pronounced two ways right?

I remember her at Cal and thought she had promise...and wondered where/why she disappeared.

Heh, good point, I missed that. I presume they mean the pronunciation that also rhymes with binned or twinned, as if they were going the other way they'd have spelled it wined or whined |

That's what I presume (much better word that assume haha) as well. But that's the first thing I thought when I saw it LOL

So - Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe from the Liberty is taking the season off to work out with the Canadian NT. Wonder if Achonwa will be doing the same?

Fever moves today...
Ink Dupree to a multi-year
Trade January for the #8 from Phoenix
Assuming Vegas takes Wilson and Indiana takes Mitchell. Are Pokey and co. counting on Wheeler to help transition a rookie through the ropes? Someone, anyone, please tell me you've heard our trading plots aren't all played out.

Pokey was a pretty fair point guard herself. Mitchell will be just fine.
