Who put Kool-Aid in the Gatorade? Practically all the American women have been ousted from the tournament on day one. WTF?

American men didn't do much better. Sock & Isner also out in the first round. Ryan Anderson did advance as did qualifier Mackenzie McDonald(22 years old, ranked 178).

Great comeback by Woz.

Down 1-5, 15-40 in the 3rd, wins 7-5 over Fett.

Anyone know if there is something going on with Sloane, she has lost pretty much since the US open?

I hope people are watching this semifinal live between Halep and Kerber because it is fantastic.

After all the early upsets its 1 vs 2 in the finals

Simone Halep vs Caroline Wozniacki.

I doubt it can match the Halep semifinal, but it should be a good match. Neither has one a Major before even though they've both been #1 in the world.

That was a heck of a match. Wish that was the final.

Saw the result, forgot to record it, pissed, but I think it's up next on the Tennis channel.

One of the overall more enjoyable AOs for me, due to who wasn't there and the early departures of players i don't care for. Laughing

Go Halep!

Finally to able finish watching it...Halep shoulda coulda won in straights, but i'm happy that she seems to have conquered the emotional problems which have been a big hindrance for her.

Could be looking at another 3 setter for the title.

Cool that the winner will be a 1st time Major champ.

Very good match, not quite what the semi was. I'm glad that both players have overcome some demons and hope that Halep can also win a Major this year.

Now we'll see what happens when Serena comes back.

We know what's happening when Serena comes back. Twisted Evil These other players need to win whatever they can, while they can, because it seems like Serena is not coming back just to make up the numbers. Plus we need her to get to the top of the grand slam list to shut the lid on any potential argument about who's the GOAT.
