In South Dakota it's the South Dakota Showdown Series.

These are the two undefeated teams in the Summit League.

The Jackrabbits are one of the best teams in the nation from a mid-major. The Coyotes are more of a question mark, with a good win over Creighton, but an absolute stinker in a 22 point loss to Stephen F Austin as well as a home loss to Tulsa.

Midway thru the third and the Yotes lead Jacks by 11

Yotes march into Brookings and win the Battle of the Ring tailed pheasant State.

This was a fun game to watch. Both teams seemed evenly matched. The Coyotes got hot coming out of halftime with two 3 pointers to push the lead to 11 and were able to hold the lead the rest of the way. SDSU made a push with about 4 minutes to go and got within 2, but South Dakota stiffened and the Jackrabbits couldn't hit shots down the stretch. Neither team looked good enough pull a first round upset in the NCAA, but hot 3 point shooting can cure a lot of ills, so who knows. But this will make it difficult for the Summit to get an at large bid.
