Obviously you're just trolling, but whatever. if you'd actually bother to look at the stats you'd find ND did't play a horrible game. Their shooting percentage and rebounding and turnovers and so forth were all fine. The difference in the game was entirely that Louisville came out (not having beaten Notre Dame in nine years) psyched out of their minds and shot 72% percent in the first half and 65% for the game. That's it. A performance that I daresay will not be replicated. It won't be replicated in practice, it won't be replicated in their backyards. Not for the rest of the season, not in ACC tournament, and not in the NCAA tournament. Neither ND nor anyone else needs to worry about Louisville playing like that again. And this week we saw them at their normal standard of performance - at home again no less - and the outcome.
So they will likely go on the road to UConn and get their butts kicked, and then you inevitably will be back trolling again about how much UConn beat them by, and how much they beat Notre Dame by, and how adding the two MOVs together is supposed to mean something, because that's the kind of crap you post.

Not even close. Muffet was horrified with the defense in the Louisville game. (She mentioned it 3 times in her recent radio show despite the fact that the game was 10 days ago!) But Louisville also shot the lights out. It wasn't just layups. They were hitting 3-ptrs galore (11/17 --> 65% for the game). I think that's what Art meant by a perfect storm. ND playing bad defense and Louisville shooting out of their minds.
If you look at the Louisville in other games and vs. common opponents, you can see that the Notre Dame game was an aberration. But congrats to Louisville, they played great. I hope that Notre Dame gets to play them again this season in the ACC tournament.

Absolutely. They played an epic game against ND and deserved to win.
But the chance of replicating that performance, against ND or anyone else, is near zero.
