| Players for both teams working hard at both ends. Lots of motion. Great game even without much scoring. Looks like another game where the home team just outshoots the other. Ducks on fire.

| McGwire huge (in more ways than one) for them when she can make that 15 foot jumper. And her defense is giving Gulich fits. If Oregon has finally figured out how to use her, the team will be that much better in the long run.

McGwire looking better than Hebard. She's deadly from the key jumper and has some post footwork.
That forest pattern on the floor just doesn't work. Looks like a pack of timber wolves with diarrhea camped there. |

I always like to see that Mary Murphy is the color commentator for the game.
The producer has figured out that Lexi Bando is _very_ attractive, or is there some other reason she keeps getting shown on the bench (not a complaint)?

Schatz-Murphy never digress from the game . . . at all. Schatz calls almost every play -- who's got the ball, who shot, who rebounded, who is being substituted into the game -- which no ESPN, Fox or SNY pbp person EVER does. I also like the energy and enthusiasm of their delivery, although that could possibly become tiring. However, nothing is as bad as the unrelenting OVERTHETOP UConn homer announcers that some of have had to endure for decades.
Ducks are good. Pac 12 is the most interesting conference to watch.
What kind of injury does Bando have? Not sure whom I would remove from the lineup when she's healthy. Murphy should read the NCAA stats more often; Bando hasn't been the leading 3pt shooter for a long time. |

living with a blind person makes you appreciate those radio type announcers more. but he can't listen to these two any more than I can. We can stand either one of them much better when they aren't together.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd have no problem with announcers going on the occasional tangent as long as they called the game with more detail. I don't want to get lectured by Ros for two hours on how "this team is playing very hard" and "energy is important in this game." and the assorted hyperbolic statements. It's just not of any value.

Right, but on the other hand, having them jump from unrelated topic to unrelated topic like goldfish distracted by a shiny object is very annoying. And it doesn't help that in so many of these cases, it's an excuse to shoehorn UConn into the broadcast, which, if I wanted to hear about UConn I'd watch the UConn game.
