Starting PG Aj Alix is back in the lineup for FSU after missing the last game with the flu. Chatrice White will not start this game.

Lets see if they are smarter than every other team the Cards have played and force Durr right Laughing But the real match up is Hines Allen.

I thought this would be a high scoring game...but not so much so far.

Yikes. This one looking like a blow-out already. Noles just haven't been a good road team this season.

Louisville leads by 13 after one.

Little bit of a comeback, LOU needs to go through Hines-Allen.

Sue is not happy about that out of bounds as she thought Hines-Allen pushed her.

Best defensive game Ive seen from Imani Wright. Great defense on Durr the whole game.

First team to 50 wins!

Not really she doesn't go hard, does nothing else for her team.

Late for this due to mass, but what a great win for my Noles, even though they shot only 28% and had only three assists!?

Certified by Jeff Walz and multiple times by the ESPN announcers as the most athletic player in WCBB, and with a fall away jump shot from 3 to 16 feet that can't be stopped, Shakayla Thomas moves into contention as the second best (to VV) small forward in the senior class.

One wild and strange game, for sure. I came to it quite late and couldn’t believe my eyes. But what I saw..good work by FSU. They are earning the title of spoilers.

So which is the real Louisville? This one or the one that shot 72% in the first half against Notre Dame?

Judging from its performance against GaTech and others (and my natural biases Wink ) I'm inclined to think this game was closer to a true representation and the ND game was just a perfect storm.

I guess we'll know more after ND and FSU play each other.

Keyed In on Shakayla Thomas this game and although not a stellar performance she is better than Gabby Williams offensively no doubt. Shes a threat on the floor with the ball to score.

Real question should be which is the real Notre Dame as there was no storm, in fact Notre Dame laid down like a calm water with complete stillness?

So lets see

Shooting long range W=T
Shooting mid range W<T
Shooting close range W>T Williams is 56% Thomas 52%
Passing W>T Williams 85/49 ass/To Thomas 15/26 ouch
Unselfishness i.e. screens, movement to help team W>T overwhelmingly
Defense on ball W>T steals 49 for Williams Thomas 16
Defense v posts W>T blocks 9 for Williams and Thomas 8 I gave it to Williams as clearly she has demonstrated she can guard anyone harder than Thomas
Screens W>T does Thomas even look to get anyone a look but herself

Mathematcally seems clear to me.

Yeah but where will she play? At 5'11" she can't play the 4 and without a 3 pt shot (o-2 this season) she can't play the 3 (or so I've been told) Smile

Id trust her offensive instincts to score over Gabby's so if Williams is considered a lottery pick maybe Shakayla should be also . Although i do agree neither should , but if the game speaks then its obvious Shakayla is the better offensive player .
