if that is the way you feel just turn the sound off. They aren't forcing you to listen.

Does Golden Woody think we can't see Canada's feet inside the arc on that bogus charge call?

Really disappointing effort from Anigwe tonight...Cal isn't struggling against the pressure, they just can't score. Not a very exciting half.

Really stupid to put Anigwe back in with just over a minute to play.

With Anigwe having 3 fouls I can't see Cal coming back. Cowling and Smith need to get hot to even stay close.

Billings w/ 12/14 as UCLA eases to a 29-17 halftime lead.

Canada unimpressive so far.

I've always kinda liked A. Thomas. When she was a Frosh, I really thought she'd become much more of a major factor than she has. Hard to believe she's 'already' a junior. And I've always thought Cowling was a super talent, but that too hasn't really come together. She reminds me a bit of T. Young in the W - but not sure the W has room for another player like that in this day and age. She needs to do something really well, and I haven't seen that something. Anigwe had huge games against the poodies last weekend, but she is pretty invisible tonight.

Horvat and Dean look good on the floor but their stats so far are ugly.

Yeah, at this point, Billings is the only one showing up. Her effort is truly outstanding.

Cowling is an excellent defender but has never developed offensively. It is interesting because when she came to Cal she seemed like more of the offensive threat than her high school teammate Gabby Green. Green transferred to Loyola Marymount after two years.

UCLA once again handles Cal 60-52

The good news for Cal is unlike the first game at least the Bears showed up for the second half, Down by 12 at the half, they cut the lead to 4 after 3 quarters but couldn't get any closer. Billings led the Bruins with 14 pts and 18 rebounds, but scored only two points in the second half. Anigwe and Thomas had 14 for Cal, but Billing clearly won the battle inside.
