This is a huge win for Utah. They are certainly an NCAA bubble team. Their loss to BYU is not looking as bad and if the Cougars move into the top 100 RPI their resume will be respectable (2-3 vs RPI top 50, 1-2 vs 51-100, 4-0 vs 101-200, 5-0 vs 201+) For fairness I also moved the WSU Cougars down from 49 to 51-100. Utah has games left vs Arizona, WSU, Washington and 2 against Colorado as well as six against top 40 teams. 5 wins, plus a first round win in the Pac 12 Tournament, should be enough to get the Utes into the NCAA.
