How are Louisville getting these calls Shocked

That's what I was thinking, but I'm an Irish fan. These offensive fouls usually go the other way.

Hines-Allen doing a pretty good imitation of Easy Ed Pinckney. 9-11

Nice to see the Louisville crowd on their feet instead of an empty arena.

I sure hope that MM is sensitive and supportive to her team after that defensive effort. We wouldn't want them to have their fragile egos damaged. Rolling Eyes

That is the best half I have seen any team play this season. Puzzling to understand how they have had so many other close calls to inferior teams. Maybe they just play to the level of their opponent?

Wow. I know Notre Dame is undermanned (understatement), but damn, Louisville just playing very well.

56-28 at the half.

What? They need to play better defensively. Although while I thought the team should be more aggressive, they are clearly playing too aggressively, as they have committed almost double the fouls of Louisville. Both Mabrey and Arike needed to sit after picking up 2 fouls in the first half.

Its a shooting drill as man that was some non existent defense, no hustle or anything

I agree the team needs to box out better. They aren't running to the ball.

I see what you are doing there , good one but I actually agree with you and I have no dog, the calls are pretty much all for the Cards, Notre Dame can't get a sniff.

They probably don't hit 72% when they're practicing shooting in an empty gym.

Whether that's true as a general rule, Walz certainly has them fired up tonight.

Has Hines-Allen ever before shot like she is tonight?

That doesn't excuse ND's play though.

At least one of the fouls on both Arike & Marina was offense.
